Silver Fir Branch Extract: While the word polyphenol might make you think of fruits like blueberries, the highest concentration of these magical anti-aging compounds is actually found in silver fir trees. The branches contain at least 36 highly bioactive polyphenols that have been clinically proven to be better than those you find in fruits and veggies. In other words, they’re extremely powerful. They protect against environmental and UV damage, reduce wrinkles and hyperpigmentation, and help retain moisture.
The wood and branches used are strictly sourced from regular felling only, and no trees are cut to produce the extract. This material would otherwise have ended up as waste and left to rot.
