The chocolate is gently melted at a maximum of 48 degrees. This ensures that all the benefits of the matcha are fully preserved. The Health Bar chocolate is vegan, gluten-free, and free from refined sugar.
Our organic Matcha has a premium quality, which means that the leaves are from the very first harvest in spring. These are particularly mild in taste and have a better quality (regarding taste and color) from all later harvests of the year.
Another big difference in quality is that the leaves are harvested and processed by hand. Hardly any machines are used in the harvestation of our Matcha. The first leaves are picked by hand, gently steamed and grinded with granite stones. The cultivation is done without the use of pesticides. Annual soil samples and laboratory tests focusing on the heavy metal and radiation exposure are executed to ensure the best possible quality. In addition, each batch is carefully checked on its mineral properties. Our quality is confirmed by strict standards of the organic certification of the Japanese Certification Body JONA and the German Organic Certification.
