Production process: Selection: cocoa beans are harvested by hand and carefully selected for their quality. Fermentation: The beans undergo a natural fermentation process at temperatures up to 50 degrees Celsius, which helps reduce their initial bitterness. Drying and roasting: after fermentation, the grains are dried and then roasted in the factory. Grinding: roasted beans are ground, releasing fats and transforming into a liquid mass known as cocoa mass. Powder processing: The cocoa mass is pressed into a cocoa cake, which is then ground and cooled to form a fine cocoa powder.
Nutritional value: Cocoa beans are a powerful source of antioxidants, as they contain more antioxidants than red wine and three times more than green tea. They are also a source of minerals. Our cocoa powder preserves an important part of the nutritional value of the seeds, without any additives.
